Module 5
Stress Management: Prioritizing Sleep and Calming Practices
Our daily lifestyle habits and choices have been impacted by the constantly changing circumstances surrounding COVID-19, which has in turn impacted the quality and quantity of our sleep. In this video Leslie Choi will discuss the basic mechanisms of sleep and will review helpful strategies, mindsets, and themes around healthy sleep patterns. For additional information and ways to improve your sleep see pages 19-20 in your Toolkit.
Part 2: Mindfulness Techniques
This video presented by Mandy Doria, MS, LPC, NCC, RYT-200 is typically shared in Session 6, but we are updating the curriculum and will include this video under this Module to demonstrate that part of getting quality sleep is the ability to downregulate your nervous system throughout the day.
