Stress and the Human Machine: Impact of Stress on Mind, Body, and Living the Life You Love
In this module Laura McGladrey introduces us to the Stress Continuum model and starts discussing the foundational language we will be using throughout these videos such as how to “trend toward the green.” This session will cover how to be more self-aware of one’s internal states, how to use the Stress Continuum to inform choices that will improve emotional well-being, and how to “energize your battery” using the Battery Snapshot tool. We encourage you to access the TOOLKIT (in particular pages 1-7) to follow along. Pause the video at any point to allow time for reflection and self-evaluation. Finally, share these concepts with others if that is helpful.
